The 100th anniversary of the church’s consecration is on St Anne’s Day, Sunday 26th July. The programme will be: 10am Matronal Sung Eucharist at which Archbishop Rowan Williams will preside and preach 12pm Lunch (bring and share) 1.30pm Garden Party with entertainment and history presentation 4.30pm Summer Carol Service with the theme “From St Anne to St Anne’s” Make sure it’s in your diary and tell your friends
Maundy Thursday 2nd April 8pm Eucharist (Taize Style) with Washing of feet, and Vigil until midnight (sign up to commit to ½ hour or more) Good Friday 3rd April 11am Walk of Witness 2pm Liturgy with Singing of St John’s Passion (Victoria), Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion Saturday 4th April 10am Singing Practice for Easter. 11am Decoration of Church – Come and help! 8pm Easter Vigil at Bristol Cathedral, including the Confirmation of Elysia Johns and Josiah Etheridge Easter Sunday 5th April 5.30am Sunrise Service with Blessing of New Fire, Service of Light, and Eucharist (with a Godly Play activity)followed by breakfast baps and Easter egg hunt 10am Sung Eucharist with Renewal of Baptism Vows
