Friday 8th November we will be celebrating the life of a former St Ambrose Boys Brigade member, FRED ROOM VC.
He is being honoured with a blue plaque outside his former home in Congleton Road, and then the party are coming into Church to see his war memorial, before going on to Greenbank cemetery to see his grave.
