Safeguarding

St Mary’s is a church where all are affirmed, welcomed and valued, recognising that we are each made in the image of God. As such we are committed to promoting a safer church environment for everyone. We believe it is everyone’s responsibility to nurture and care for children, young people and vulnerable adults in a safe and secure environment and to prevent harm wherever possible. .

If a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires immediate medical attention, call 999. You do not need their permission to do this.

If you have immediate concerns about the welfare of a child, please phone the NSPCC 24 hour helpline: 0808 800 5000.
