St Mary's Church
Almondsbury Church is lively and active and remains a focus of our community life. It draws its congregation both from the parish and more widely. Between 80 and 100 people gather in St Mary's worshipping Jesus Christ on an average Sunday, at major festivals and on other special occasions 300 people or more may be present.
We promise...
...a genuine but non-pressurising welcome;
...to accept you as you are: belief, unbelief, doubts and all;
...to encourage you in your faith journey;
...if you wish, a confidential listening ear.
The Church is open during daylight hours (times may vary) for visiting, quiet comtemplation and prayer.

St Peter's
We are a friendly ecumenical (Anglican and Methodist) village church for everyone in Pilning, Severn Beach and beyond.
The parish of St. Peter Pilning is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
