Rev Sam Sheppard was appointed priest in charge or Whitchurch and Hengrove in 2021.

He's from Kingswood, trained in Cuddesdon, Oxford, and served his curacy at St Barnabas Knowle West. At 29 he is one of the youngest incumbents in the country.

He's married to Rachel, has two dogs, keeps hens, lizards and fish and is fairly safely described as "not a normal vicar".
