Following the theft of lead from St Nicholas Church roof in November 2019 we have been forced to take action to protect the building from further theft. We have therefore successfully installed 24 hour CCTV surveillance cameras covering the church roof. As well as continually recording the pictures on a computer hard disc this system immediately notifies our Building Chairman of any activity on the church roof and allows him access to the live streaming of any such activity so that he set the audible alarm and notify police and others of the threat immediately.
