This non-communion service is led by members of the congregation.
Members of St Anne's, St Christopher's, and St Luke's will process from their respective churches to St Cuthbert's, gathering outside at 10.30am. After the Liturgy of the Palms, we will make our way inside the church for the Liturgy of the Passion and communion.
The service begins with the Reception of Holy Oils from the Chrism Eucharist at the cathedral. We continue with a service of Holy Communion, followed by the Stripping of the Sanctuary, and the Watch for one hour
A reflective service with readings and hymns to mark the Last Hour at the Cross.
Our Easter celebrations begin with The Easter Liturgy, including The Service of Light, The Vigil, and The Liturgy of Initiation.
