Family Communion

Occurring
Every Sunday at for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Francis Ashton
Address
North Street Ashton Gate BRISTOL, BS3 1JP, United Kingdom

A mix of largely traditional and contemporary worship in a friendly atmosphere. Our communion services have the feel of an Anglo-Catholic service incorporating incense into our services. There is an unsupervised baby and toddler area set up at the back of church which means that children can play whilst adults can join in the worship and there are activities for school age children.

St Francis Ashton

Welcome to St Francis Church. We are a church for the community in the community of North Street. We have three services on most Sundays with a 9am Worship Together, 10:30am Family Worship/ Family Communion and, on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, we have a 6pm worship evening. Our communion services are of a formal style and incorporate incenses, hymns and prayers.

Safeguarding

Our parish of St. Francis, Ashton is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [[email protected]] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [[email protected]]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
