After months of planning, lots of prayer and discussions, we have finally managed to replace the windows in the east and west sides of the tower at St Nic's. The previous windows were deemed unsafe and required to either be totally renovated and secured or replaced. We are thrilled with the new coastal grade aluminium frames, which have been powder coated to replicated the original colour. The double glazed units are already making a difference to the temperature inside the church!
Hats off the the PCC, Brian Pendlebury who project managed, Steve Fish our Architect, Steve Allan and his team from Bispham who did the work, and the wonderful Paul Wane of The Air Base who has filmed the project and put this slide show together for us.
