*********************************

Almighty Father, who in your great mercy gladdened the disciples with the sight of the risen Lord:

give us such knowledge of his presence with us, that we may be strengthened and sustained by his risen life and serve you continually in righteousness and truth; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,

who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Tuesday Holy Communion – Please note that this service will start at 1.45 pm this coming week and will return to its usual time the following week. Apologies for any inconvenience.

The Parochial Church Council (PCC): A new PCC will be formed at the APCM at the end of May and we are keen to encourage some new members. We meet six times a year, so it’s not onerous, but just requires you to be passionate about the future of St Nic’s. Please approach the Vicar if you feel you could serve the parish in this way.

Electoral Roll: If you have been attending St Nic’s for at least the last six months and you are baptised and over the age of 16 then you are eligible to have your name entered on the electoral roll of the church. Please attend to this no later than 14th May. Application forms are at the back of church.

Please also remember in your prayers: Rev Jane Everitt, Rev Martin Keighley, Elizabeth King, Chris Kelsall, Michaela Jones, Mark Price, Grantham Fidler, Tony Hardman, John Hawley & Peter Hollier. And the families of Marjorie Kenwright, Jean Ward, Elizabeth Mustard, Agnes Reader, Angela Denney and Sarah Entwistle whose funerals are due to take place.
