Thank you to everyone who came and supported the pop-up café at Holy Trinity Church Freckleton. We are so grateful to the kind people of Freckleton and St Paul's Warton for their ongoing support to help Get Dan Home.Dan has a busy day today, as he is off to Manchester Science and Industry Museum to take part in a sensory exhibition and photo shoot. There will be a lot of firsts today, riding in a taxi and being away from the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital properly, so let's hope it all goes well.🩵🩵🩵https://gofund.me/1da73228
A fabulous community fundraising effort for Get Dan Home. With Holy Trinity Church, Holy Family RC Church and Freckleton Methodist Church, plus St Paul's Warton donated bottles for our stall, too. Thank you also to Rawstorne Sports Centre for your generous donation.A lovely picnic enjoyed, even if we did have to come indoors. Fundraising stalls and super entertainment from Heather Dee, then a fabulous concert at Freckleton Sports and Social Club by the brilliant Freckleton Band. Over £1,500 raised. What a fabulous village community to be a part of. Look out for the fundraising thermometer that will be going up near the village noticeboard by Ponky's soon. Let's get it filled in for Danny.
Lovely to see so many people at Freckleton Horticultural Show on Saturday. Very poignant to see a new trophy awarded for the junior exhibitors in memory of Val Ingham. Extra special was the fact that our own Freddie Stockton was the first recipient of it.
