Ukraine collection

On behalf of Holy Trinity Mother's Union, I would like to thank all members and friends for the tremendous amount of help and dedication in receiving and transporting the incredible amount of donations received for the Ukrainian Appeal. I would especially like to mention Rebecca Nickson, her family and friends, who provided a "Luton" van and other transport to enable us to get the Church cleared on Monday morning. Thank you to Mark, who drove the van and everyone who went over to Lostock Hall and some who had to return and go again the next day. I should also like to thank everyone who offered transport that was not needed, and thanks to Brian, who provided us with pies for lunch on Friday and who vacuumed up after everything had gone.

It was an incredible effort by all concerned, and we hope it will give some comfort to those who have had to leave their homes and all their possessions behind.

A special mention should be made of Freckleton C of E Primary School, who held a non-uniform day and raised the amazing amount of £600.00. This will be passed to International Aid Trust and go towards the cost of transporting the donations to Moldova

Many thanks for all your help and support
