First of all, our worship 4 U family service, where we had the delight of also baptising Ruari Eric Arthur. His middle names are after his two great grandads and he wore his grandad's christening gown.
Freckleton C of E Primary School led us in some wonderful prayers.
Some of the children helped me to make a cake - taking the recipe literally complete with flowers, whole eggs, sugar cubes, etc., and we thought about how if we don't understand the context of what we're reading, it can go terribly wrong, and related that to reading our bibles and understanding the different genres in it, etc.
We also celebrated All Saints Sunday, and we had a proper cake afterwards!
