About Us
Saint Saviour's is a small chapel in the hamlet of Stydd, just outside Ribchester. It is a remnant of a Knights Hospitallers establishment and has been designated a Grade I listed building by English Heritage. For more information visit the parish website at www.saintwilfrids.org.uk.
Saint Saviour's is situated on Stydd Lane, just outside Ribchester, beyond SSPeter and Paul's and the Almshouses. Please note that there is no parking outside the chapel, which is on a single lane track road. We ask that visitors do not park on grass verges, as this can damage the flora and fauna, as well as obstructing nearby farms and houses.
Whilst recognising that those with limited mobility may need to arrive by car, we recommend that the best way to experience this historic building is to park in Ribchester village and enjoy the pleasant and scenic walk up Stydd Lane.
