Our main Parish Eucharist follows the Church of England's Common Worship Order One (Traditional or Seasonal Contemporary).

Once monthly, usually timed to coincide with significant festivals, our volunteer Junior Church leaders will invite children to participate in activities in the Village Hall (adjacent). This will begin after the Welcome and first hymn. Children then return to the church for Holy Communion. Periodically we hold a Family Eucharist service, at which children are specifically included in the service.

We have an Open Table at St Wilfrid's, meaning that everyone is invited to come forward to receive Communion (or a blessing if preferred).

St Wilfrid's Church, Ribchester

Situated in the picturesque Ribble Valley in the heart of rural Lancashire. Ribchester grew out of the ruins of the Roman fort of Bremetenaccum and the Parish Church of Saint Wilfrid's stands where the principal buildings of the fort would have been. We have a comprehensive website, which will tell you about both St. Wilfrid's Church in Ribchester and nearby St. Saviour's at Stydd. Please visit www.saintwilfrids.org.uk.

Promoting a Safer Church: The care and protection of children, young people and adults involved in church activities is the responsibility of the whole church community. Click here to find out about our safeguarding policy and how to access support. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
