About Us
The Village of Ribchester with the outlying hamlet of Stydd are situated in the picturesque Ribble Valley in the heart of rural Lancashire. Ribchester grew out of the ruins of the Roman fort of Bremetenaccum and the Parish Church of Saint Wilfrid's stands where the principal buildings of the fort would have been.
St. Wilfrid's, Ribchester with St. Saviour's, Stydd is proud to be part of a United Benefice with the nearby parishes of St. John's, Hurst Green and All Hallows', Mitton.
We have a comprehensive web site which will tell you about both Saint Wilfrid's Church and Saint Saviour's at Stydd. Please visit www.saintwilfrids.org.uk
