Join us as we commemorate the presentation of the infant Jesus to God in the temple, where he was recognised by prophets Anna and Simeon as the promised Saviour. This celebration marks the turning point in the Christian year when our reflections move from Jesus' birth at Christmas, towards his death and resurrection at Easter. During this service, candles to be used in our worship throughout the coming year will be blessed.

St Chad, Skerton

St Chad's is a friendly, welcoming church which meets in a warm, sunny mid-century building. We are committed to serving our local community and growing God's Kingdom here in Skerton.  Join us as we worship God together, encountering his presence in the Eucharist and the Bible.
