St John the Divine

Welcome to our church and your church.

We are a welcoming and happy bunch of God's family, doing our best to follow Jesus and love each other. We have children's ministry and we enjoy hearing and singing of God's glory and faithfulness. Please come along wether you are new to the area, visiting, or have not been for some time. We would love you to join with us as we recognise Christ's image in each and everyone of his beloved children (young and not so young!)

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Sandylands: St John is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), her name is Mags Carr. Our Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. https://www.blackburn.anglican.org/safeguarding
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor - Catherine Smith on 07711485170 - [email protected].

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
