St. Peter's, Scorton
We are one parish in three locations - sharing Christ & serving community
Everyone is warmly welcomed to our Church community, situated in lovely countryside.
Sunday Service at St Peter's is usually at 10.30am - the exception to this is the first Sunday of the month when we have an Evening Prayer and Praise service at 6pm instead. Holy Communion takes place on the second and third Sundays of the month and a Prayer and Praise lay lead service on the other Sundays.
We hold all kinds of services and events during the Church year, including a number with the United Parish.

St Peter's is one of 3 Churches in our United Parish. Our two other church locations are St John the Evangelist in Calder Vale and All Saints in Barnacre - our Diocese is the Diocese of Blackburn.
The United Parish of Barnacre, Calder Vale and Scorton: St Peter's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. St John's Church, Calder Vale
We are one parish in three locations - sharing Christ & serving community
Everyone is warmly welcomed to our Church community, situated in lovely countryside.
Sunday Service at St John's is usually at 10.00am - Communion with hymns on the first and second Sundays of each month, alternating with “Prayer and Praise" services on other weeks. You can join in person or via zoom - please do reach out for zoom details.
We hold all kinds of services and events during the Church year, including a number with the United Parish.

Sunday Service at All Saints Church, Barnacre is usually at 10.00am - Communion with hymns is on the first and second Sundays of the month, with a "Prayer and Praise" service on the other Sundays.
