On Saturday 7th December, we're having a Christingle Coffee Afternoon in the Church Hall. It's open to families and children. Every family can make their own Christingle to take home, but there'll be plenty of tea, coffee and cake as well! Why not come along and enjoy a bit fun.
Did you know that Christingles date back to 1747 and were all about teaching children about the love of Jesus? As you make your family Christingle, you'll be following over 770 years of tradition.
All funds raised will go to The Children's Society (https://www.childrenssociety.org.uk/).

Everyone is welcome to our annual family friendly Christingle service.
Each element of a Christingle has a special meaning and these help to tell the Christian story. The orange represents the world. The red ribbon (or tape) symbolises the love and blood of Christ. The sweets and dried fruit represent all of God’s creations. The lit candle represents Jesus’s light in the world, bringing hope to people living in darkness.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Come and join us on our journey from Christmas Eve into Christmas Day!
It will be a special time when we will be celebrating Holy Communion with carols, prayers and readings. Celebrating the reason for our faith - that Jesus came down from heaven as a baby, grew up and lived amongst us, then died on the cross to save us from our sins.
Everyone is welcome to this special service.
