On a Sunday, we have two services, at 9.15am and 11.15am. Both are lively worship services with great teaching, band-led worship and kids ministry, but only the 11.15am will have separate youth activities. You can get an idea of what our services are like by watching our YouTube Channel.
We serve refreshments between the two services, starting from 10.30am.
We also have a more traditional service 10.30am on Wednesdays. Refreshments are served after this service.
Our Sunday morning services are around an hour long. Services begin with a welcome, and then usually the band lead the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sign along and/or engage with worship however you feel comfortable.
After the music portion of service is complete, we have a reading from the Bible. We have Church Bibles available for you to use if you like. Then one of our preaching team will share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus. This will last about 20 minutes.
Following the message, we have a time to respond. This might involve sitting quietly and thinking, or singing along to some more music. We would never want you to feel uncomfortable, so don't feel obliged to take part in any way. If you need any assistance or printed word sheets please let one of the welcome team know.
During the last part of the worship there will be an opportunity for one of the prayer team members to pray with you if you wish.
Kids and young people are an essential part of our church. Your child's safety is our highest priority, and anyone who serves in kids and young people's groups has been DBS checked and has completed safeguarding training.
When you arrive, you will be asked to register at our kids check-in. You'll be told which group is right for your children or young people, and shown where to go. You may want to allow 10 minutes to do this before the service.
Everyone is together for the first part of the service. We have worship bags to keep younger children engaged, but please don't worry if your child cries, shouts or simply wants to run around we want them to feel a home.
The leader will announce that the children and young people will be going to their groups, and that's the time to take your children to their groups. A kids or youth leader will welcome them and you are welcome to stay for a while and see what they do, or you are free to head back to the service. We do ask that you stay in the building though.
In their groups, the children and young people will do activities and have discussions appropriate to their age. They will usually follow the same theme as the main service, so you can talk about the topic afterwards. At the end of the service, you will be able to collect your children.
