Welcome to our Parish. We are an increasing congregation with a range of traditional and family orientated services – united by our shared faith in a loving God. Our latest addition an an all age worship service know locally as the 545 service. It is a communion service led by Rev Sue Ball, with craft activities and takes place at 5:45 p.m. every Wednesday at St. John's Church in Read. You are very welcome to join in the fun. It really is all age with regular worshipers from the aged of 2 to 101! The parish of St John's, Read and St Peter's, Simonstone is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.
