On Sunday 12th November in our parishes we mark and give thanks for all who have died or been maimed in service for our country.
Please wear your poppy with pride at our services.
There is a change at St Anne’s this year, as Canon Law requires a service of Holy Communion to be held in the Benefice. Those in St John’s parish are most welcome to attend the service at St Anne’s to receive Communion.
Services are:
• 10.30am at St John’s and laying of the wreaths at the memorial in front of the Church
• 12noon at the memorial in Fence Village, laying of the wreaths with representatives from some uniformed services
• 1pm at St Anne’s – Remembrance Day service, laying of wreaths and Holy Communion.
**Lunch follows in the Refectory. You are invited to bring photos, memorabilia for our display.
**to help with catering, please add your name to the lists in the Narthex or email Reverend Lesley [email protected]
