St Anne’s, Fence – 11am Sunday 24 September
followed by lunch- please see event page for details.
Your gifts of tinned and dried goods will be gratefully received during our services. These will go to the local foodbanks we support, namely ‘Open Door’ (Colne) and ‘St Philip’s Centre’ (Nelson)
All monetary donations received at our Harvest services will go to the Bishop’s Appeal. Please read on and click the link to hear more about this Appeal. Last summer, during the Lambeth Conference, Bishop Philip met one of the most inspirational Christian leaders he had ever come across. Bishop Joseph Aba is the Bishop of Liwolo, which is in the southern part of South Sudan. Just two days after he was elected Bishop, that whole part of South Sudan was plunged into the most terrible and destructive Civil War. Bishop Joseph had to lead his people into exile.
