Questions……. Do you really know all about your church?
Do you really know how your church serves the community and her plans for the future?

Churches are Charities and registered as such, the members of the PCC are Trustees of the Charity and in line with Church Regulations and Charity Rules, hold an Annual Meeting.
What is an Annual Meeting?

The Annual Meeting or APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting) dates back to 1919 and is an important meeting in the life of all churches. The Annual meeting is important for the whole church. It is the opportunity for members of the congregation to elect the people they want to serve as leaders in the church and to ask any questions about the state of the church finances, building and outreach etc.
In the past, many of our congregation decline to attend the Annual Meeting, thinking it is nothing to do with them …but it is! It is your church.
This year, as last year, we are holding a ‘Service of the Word in Thanksgiving’ for each of our churches and the APCM will be incorporated into the service. Please do put the date in your diary and please come to this special service. Please come along and worship and give thanks to God for all that our church does in our communities.

St Anne’s, Fence – 11am Sunday 26th March
On these Sundays, Holy Communion will be available at the sister church, which you are welcome to attend.

St Anne

WELCOME!

Welcome to St Anne's church, Fence -in -Pendle. We sit in the heart of Pendleside and we have a heart for Jesus!  We welcome all to our church and to all our events held at The Refectory. At St. Anne's we are apart of ‘Inclusive Church’ network. We believe an inclusive church celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate.
