The three churches of Fence and Wheatley Lane have joined together to host a Community Sunflower Growing Competition. There will be prizes for the tallest Sunflower; the widest Sunflower head; the best Sunflower display (you can grow more than one Sunflower!)

Entry to the competition is optional. If you wish to enter, please let Clare, our Church Warden have your contact details before Sunday 26th May (Trinity Sunday).

W/c 19th August, we will get in touch to verify which category you wish to enter and we will ask for measurements. Judging will take place Monday 2nd September. Presentations to the winners will be at 3.30pm on Thursday 5th September at Wheatley Lane Methodist church.

Everyone can take part, regardless of whether they wish to enter the competition. Please collect your pot, compost and seed and grow your own sunshine!
