Based on the Book of Exodus, the ‘Journey to Freedom’ course has five sessions each with its own theme…
1. Slavery (The plight of the Israelites)
2. Call (Moses and the Burning Bush
3. Rescue (The crossing of the Red Sea)
4. Hunger (Bread in the wilderness)
5. Mountain (Mount Sinai)
We will explore what these 5 themes mean as we live the Christian life today.
Each Lent Gathering will be held twice weekly on Wednesdays at St Thomas’ Church, Barrowford…
a) after the 10.30am service of Holy Communion (approx. 11.30am) in the Lady Chapel

b) 7.00-8.15pm in the Lady Chapel

February 21st & 28th March 6th, 13th, 20th. All Welcome
