Do you know how your church serves the community and her plans for the future?

Churches are Charities and registered as such, the members of the PCC are Trustees of the Charity and in line with Church Regulations and Charity Rules, hold an Annual Meeting.

What is an Annual Meeting?

The Annual Meeting or APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting) dates back to 1919 and is an important meeting in the life of all churches. The Annual meeting is important for the whole church. It is the opportunity for members of the congregation to elect the people they want to serve as leaders in the church and to ask questions about the state of the church finances, building and outreach etc.

We hold our meeting within an Act of Worship and Thanksgiving.

Please come along on Sunday 10th May 2026 9.30am at St John's Church Higham. On this Sunday, Holy Communion will be available at our sister church St Anne's Fence at 11am.

Wednesday 30th April at 10am at St Thomas Barrowford.

The Mothers’ Union Capsule arrives in Pendle Deanery.
