We welcomed Revd. Nick Murray to our Deanery at his Institution and Induction to the Benefice of St Thomas, Barrowford and St Mary, Newchurch-in-Pendle. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as he begins his ministry.
We heard the Christmas story; Mary and Joseph didn’t have a car but a donkey, the Three Kings brought gifts including ‘frankinstein’! The children then sang ‘Away in a Manger’. We look forward to seeing them soon for the Christingle Service. Thanks to Heather and Doreen for their help.
They thought about God’s creation, global warming and heard the story of Noah and the Ark. We meet again at The Refectory on Friday, December 13th for our Christmas Party. See on the events section!
