We continued exploring prayer and our journey with Jesus Christ. We used various resources to hold, listened to music, plus settling to relax in stillness and calm.Our next meeting is ‘Hush before the Rush’ on Wednesday 6th December at 7.30pm in St Anne’s church, – come and press ‘pause’ and find peace in the busyness of Christmas preparations. All welcome .
Stuart, Jackie & Kate came along to tell us all about being ‘puppy raisers’ for the Guide Dog Association. They brought along Lillibet the golden retriever & Bella the golden Labrador. Jackie showed us how they can carry the puppies in a sling when they are small, so that they can still socialise in different environments whilst waiting to have their final vaccinations. It was such a lovely service with lots of singing and children reading. We thought about how generous God is and how we can be generous too. Each child left with a card, on which to pledge a generous act they would make. Bible reading was Luke 12: 16-30
