Herbs for Health & Wellbeing’: with herbology quiz for children.

Sunday 8th September @ St John’s 3.30pm -4.30pm

‘Afternoon Tea with Healthy Baking’: Higham Village Hall. Taste the cakes and vote for your favourite. Contact Gil Gilbert 07427113522 if you would like more information and / or to bake a cake.

Monday 9th September @ St John’s 1.30pm

Organ Praise’: Hear the stories behind pieces of music. A wonderful time of fellowship with our Church Organist & Choirmaster, Robert Fergusson. All welcome.

Tuesday 10th September @ St Anne’s Refectory 2pm-3pm

Pendleside Mother’s Union: ‘The power of touch’ with Revd. Lesley Hinchcliffe. All welcome. The Refectory St Anne’s Fence (opposite Fence Gate Lodge). All welcome. Please bring a small hand towel as there will be a demonstration of a hand and arm massage, using aromatherapy oils, and the opportunity for you to give and receive a massage.

Friday 13th September @ St Anne’s Refectory 6.30pm

‘Celebration of Sport’ weekend – Sports Quiz with Pie & Peas supper. Testimonies shared at the break.

Saturday 14th September @ St Anne’s church and Refectory 10.30am -3pm

‘Celebration of Sport’: Family Fun Day with BBQ, sports circuit in the church grounds for all ages, sporting challenges, healthy eating stall, book stall

Sunday 15th September at St John’s, 11.30am

‘Walk exploring Higham & the surroundings’: 1hr walk with Gil Gilbert. To book a place ring 07427113522. Meet outside St John’s church

Worship & Praise’: Uplifting service of Praise with contemporary & traditional hymns with the new Bishop of Burnley, Reverend. Dr Joseph Kennedy.

Tuesday 10th September @ St Paul’s, Nelson, BB9 0EE 7pm

Ministry of Healing service: Celebration of the Mass for healing with laying on of hands & Sacrament of Holy anointing.

Wednesday 11th September @ St Mary’s, Trawden BB8 8PF 2pm-3pm

Walking From An Armchair’: An introduction to a seated Pilgrimage with Revd. Jayne Ward.

Saturday 14th September - Pendle Deanery Cycle Ride 11am

Start at Lomeshaye Park Nelson BB9 7AP with lunch stop at The Refectory St Anne’s, Fence
