Parents attended and it was a joy to share this milestone with them. The Reading was Matthew 5: 14-16, encouraging the youngsters to confidently take up their places in new schools. Each child received a Bible and a personal blessing from Reverend Lesley. After the blessing, children processed down the aisle and made a cross with pebbles they had painted with their name.
