Welcome to the St Leonard's Penwortham A Church Near You pages where you can find out about Services and Events. Do look in the Facilities section for information about the groups that are associated with us. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please use the 'Get in touch' section to let us know.
The Church is normally open for worship four times a week. We have two services on Sunday mornings one at 8:30am for about 40 minutes and another at 10:00 for about an hour. We also have a service on Wednesdays at 10am for about 25 minutes. On Friday morning at 8:00 there is a short service of Morning Prayer. Once a month we have Choral Evensong on a Sunday evening.
Our Sunday 10:00 service sheet is available on this website for you to bring to church or use at home.

Please help the work of St Leonard’s
The Parish of Penwortham: St Leonard is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
Details of who to contact at St Leonard’s and our Safeguarding Policy can be found on our Safeguarding page on this website.
