Most fees that are charged for services are set by the General Synod of the Church of England and set before Parliament for approval (see Parochial Fees) but other fees are set locally by the Parochial Church Council.

There is no fee for a Baptism service, but there is a fee of £17 for a certificate produced subsequently.
