REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 12th November worship starts at 10.45am in church, (there is service of Holy Communion at 9am) and everyone is invited to bring SYMBOLS OF REMEMBRANCE & HOPE.
As part of our Remembrance Service this year the congregation are invited to come forward to offer symbols of remembrance and hope, such as single flowers and homemade crosses at the foot of the altar. If you plan on coming along to the service, could I please encourage you to bring your own symbol of remembrance and hope that you can present either individually or as a family. If you have an idea for a symbol but are unsure about its suitability, please contact Rev Jon to check before bringing it along. We’ll have a small supply of doves to hands out on the morning, so if for whatever reason you are unable to bring your own symbol there’ll be some available before the service begins. These will be given out on a first come first serve basis.
Thanks in advance for all your thoughtful contributions.
