Dear Friends, The March 2024 edition of the Brindle Voice. Fixed points help us to navigate our way safely past the rocks and shoals of life to the safety of heaven’s harbour one day at a time. This is a great assurance for us all in Brindle. We are in difficult times but the Easter season, time and time again, invites us to return to these fixed points for comfort and rest and to remember that radical change is possible.Thank you to everyone for your support and contributions to this Brindle Voice edition: https://media.acny.uk/media/news/post/2024/03/82a6f01c-9587-47b7-aecd-24f97ab32e56.pdf
A heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this night out on 23rd February a success! Thank you for your generous donations. All the proceeds from the event tickets, raffle tickets, promise auctions and brand NEW limited edition Brindle Distillery GIN will go towards essential Brindle St. James' Church of England Primary School maintenance and to support the ongoing ministry of Brindle St. James' church in the local community.
Dear Friends, In this February edition we remember our successful first Brindle walking nativity - now a tradition no doubt! We also look back at the events at Whalley Abbey. Looking forward we will observe Ash Wednesday on the 14th February at the beginning of Lent (to remember Jesus’s experience before he began his ministry) and celebrate our community fundraising event together on the 23rd February. Lent is time to think about the temptations that Jesus faced, and those we are facing ourselves as we journey in faith together. Thank you for your support and contributions to the Brindle community.
