July 2019 All Change in a Transforming Church

Our continued prayers for Lois, ordained as deacon 29th June and now Curate at the Benefice of St.Chads', St Hilda and St. Annes Poulton-le-Fylde. So many of our church family met to wish her well on the day. She is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support.
Gentle reordering
Discover some different views at Brindle St.James church. A gentle reordering of furniture provides a bit of extra space for prayer resources and a welcome view of the Cavendish Chapel alter. Sit a while, light a candle, take a prayer from the prayer tree to share a prayer as you sit in a pew, leave your own written prayers on the prayer tree to share with others, take a printed prayer card with you when you head home.
I will never ask for money......
Said the Rector at the Annual Parish Meeting...... and he won't! But what he will do, together with the Wardens, is to inform the church congregation of the prevailing situation regarding finances and leave the matter between the individual and God as we embark on an initiative called, 'Giving in Grace.'
