Ascension day worship marks the day Jesus returns to heaven to live with us forever. At this time we devote more time to daily prayer for Thy Kingdom Come - a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. Specifically every Christian is invited to pray for  friends who we would like respond with a 'yes' to God's call. You will see more prayer resources in church and a new prayer corner where you can light a candle. Please pause a while to say your own prayer or read prayer cards left by others and pray alongside them. The alter in the Cavendish Chapel will be lit with candles for short evening and night prayer services in the first week of June. All the dates and times are in our notices sheets.
