This Friday saw an army of volunteers transforming St Paul's Church into a stunning venue for the 2019 Craft Fair. Choir stalls have been temporarily moved to make way for the cafe, where food and drink will be served all day. Pews have been boarded to provide space for the many stalls that will take place throughout the fair, with artisan items including home-made jams, chutneys, woodturned items, cakes, decorations, hand knitted items and many other handcrafted articles.
In addition, lunches will be served and teas and coffees throughout the day, together with mulled wine and mince pies and glasses of wine. A Grand Raffle will also take place, with no fewer than seven large Christmas hampers as prizes.
It promises to be an exciting and great day, and members of the Church hope that it will raise more vital funds for the repairs to the roof of the Church. All are most welcome to come and join in the fun, from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on Saturday 9 November.
