The following was read out in Church after both masses on 7th November 2021

Following the successful interview process the week before last, we are pleased to be able to announce that Fr Graeme Buttery has been appointed as the next Vicar of St Paul's [this parish]. Fr Graeme is currently Vicar of St Oswald in Hartlepool. Please pray for Fr Graeme and his wife Gill as they prepare to move and he prepares to take up post. A date for his institution has been agreed and it will be 1st March next year, which is Shrove Tuesday, meaning that he will with us for the whole of Lent

Father Graeme has asked us to read out this message from him and his wife:

Gill and I are really looking forward to coming and being part of St. Paul's life and that of Adlington. We are praying for you all and would just ask of your kindness to pray for all at St. Oswald's, Hartlepool as they enter a new phase of their life.
