Members of St Paul's Church have come together virtually to take part in a service of Prayers before the Blessed Sacrament, joining in with a number of churches across the Diocese of Blackburn to ask for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Mission of the Church at this time.  Thy Kingdom Come is a global initiative, calling on churches across the world to pray for mission, that the whole of creation may come to know something of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Our service at St Paul's has reflections on the questions of the challenges and encouragements we have seen in mission, and how we have seen God at work in our community.  In addition, we have contributions from a number of young people from our parish, including our Confirmation Group, together with being led in saying the Lord's Prayer by children from St Paul's School.  

The Service will go live on Facebook and YouTube at 4.00 pm on Saturday 23 May 2020, and will continue to be available after then.
