St Leonard's Padiham

St Leonard's Church gives a warm welcome to all visitors. Sunday services are held every week at 9.30am and 5.30pm. Our Sunday Cornerstone Club Children's Groups are now taking a break for the summer but will be back on 1st September.  But we always keep all ages in mind in our services so you're warmly welcome to come with all the family. Parent supervised creche facilities are also available if you have a baby or toddler who becomes restless. All ages are welcome. We'd love to see you.

For those unable to come to church - or if you'd just like to get a feel for what goes on - the 9.30am service is live-streamed every week and can be watched if you go to the "What's On" panel below and click on the Join Online link. The link can also be used throughout the week to catch up with recorded services on our parish YouTube Channel.

Our Wednesday service of Holy Communion continues to be held each week at 10am.  The 1662 Book of Common Prayer is used on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.

The Parish of Padiham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. If you have a Safeguarding concern and would like to contact a PSO please email Claire Beattie at this address [email protected]

The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA, Cath Smith, by phoning 07711485170 or emailing [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

On Monday 9th September Anthony Holden has been invited to speak at Molly Rigby’s, Mill Street, Padiham. Anthony has a fascinating story to tell and will also share something of his work as one of the Debt Coaches working in the Burnley, Nelson and Colne team. We start at 7.30pm and, of course, there will be chip butties.

If you're currently struggling to buy essentials then Padiham Parish is able to help.
