A service of Holy Communion with a sermon
JAFFA Club runs term time each Sunday during the 10.30am service except on the first Sunday of each month. It is aimed at children aged 4 years plus and we have a great group of both adults and young leaders, who plan and deliver meaningful sessions using the Blackburn Diocese educational resources. The leaders have varied skills and attributes, which means that the children are able to experience an array of fun activities including games, Bible stories, crafting, singing, and prayers, and not forgetting, biscuits and chocolates whilst all the time learning about God and Jesus's love for all of us. We always welcome new children of primary school age. Please speak to Rev Kat or one of the leaders for more information and spread the word.

Said service of about half an hour in the St Paul Chapel
Every Wednesday morning we open the doors at 9-9.30am and grab a brew, after which we sit down to have an informal discussion on a particular theme, e.g. prayer, creation, forgiveness, heaven, to name a few. We usually start off with a video clip or icebreaker question and then look at something in the Bible. We have a brew for a break at around 10.15am, then do a prayer, craft or reflection activity. The group finishes at 11am. All are welcome!
17th July was the last formal Lunch Club. During the summer holidays people can order a packed lunch to collect from the Church Hall on Wednesday at 12.30pm by texting Rev Kat on 07397775388 but there won’t be a sit down meal like usual.
Said Eucharist in the Lady Chapel for about half an hour. Modern Language but a slightly more traditional emphasis.
A time for our choir to get together and rehearse
A service on the first Sunday of the month with younger people in mind lasting about half an hour.
Please note that on 4th August and 1st September there will be a ‘Family Service’ but not a ‘Family and Parade Service’ because the uniformed organisations are on their summer break.r br
Reflective service of readings and hymns
The Accessible Bible Session in church, run by Lynn McCann, is free. It will include a Sensory Bible story-walk inside church, worship songs with makaton signing and different ways to pray to God.
