About Us

The Rector of St Peter's, Fr Andrew Holmes, extends a warm welcome to encourage you to visit this historic parish church situated in the centre of Burnley. St Peter's continues to serve its surrounding parish as a place of Christian worship, something it has done for over 900 years!

We have a thriving Sunday School, known as DJs (Discovering Jesus); a youth group, JAM (Jesus and Me) and a choir which sings at Sunday morning and evening services.

A fortnightly lunch club provides food and a chance to meet other folk aged 50+ and our Saturday morning concerts feature a variety of local, national and international performers. The town's choir and orchestra perform their principal concerts here.
