About Us

St. Cuthbert’s Church is a traditional Anglican Parish church serving the North area of Burnley. 

'St Cuthbert's  is a vibrant loving place of God's mission, worship and outreach and committed to sharing the love and light of Christ to all communities in the parish and beyond'. 

We are at the centre of the spectrum of Anglican Traditions and are friendly, caring, and welcoming church. Sunday and Tuesday services are Eucharistic with inspiring preaching and teaching aiming to grow our congregation in the love and knowledge of Christ and witness him to our diverse communities in the parish and further afield.  

We have a study home group,  a prayer group, the Sunday School, Uniformed Organizations for both boys and girls, Mothers’ Union, Luncheon Club, S.A.T.B (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, & Base) Choir and Festival Choir, Armature Operatic and Dramatic Society, and various other groups and activities for all ages.
