During January and February St Andrew's is putting on informal talks on about Jesus. It's a chance for people wondering why Christians make such a fuss about a bloke who died on a cross 2000 years ago. What is so special about him that people still follow him today. Come and have a chat over a brew if you want to know more. If you can't make it, let us know and we will get in touch with future times and dates. This time the talks are on 8th, 15th and 29th January then 5th and 19th February at 4pm.
What a joy it is to meet with others and devote time to prayer and thanksgiving! This upcoming month we meet during the daytime on Monday 21 November at 1.30pm in the vicarage. This gives those who prefer a daytime meeting an opportunity to come along. The format is usually a Bible reading with a short talk that leads into open prayer. Regular points of guidance for those praying such as news from another church, a missionary's letter and upcoming events give direction to the prayers throughout the meeting. And of course, refreshments are served. Please do consider joining us and pray for this meeting and those who attend. Email Sam for more details sam@standrewslivesey.org.uk
