Ordinarily the following would apply:
We meet on Sundays at 10.30m until 11.45am. We are a family friendly church and welcome children of all ages. Look out for updates about the creche and Sunday school. Following our services refreshments are served and from January 2023 we served a light lunch usually soup and rolls with some pizza for those who prefer it.
Prayer meetings and Bible studies are midweek, please email Sam for details: [email protected] as times and locations vary. Currently we meet Wednesday mornings and evenings for Bible study, with the first Wednesday evening being our church prayer meeting.
Part of Shona's role is connecting with local schools and this includes running lunch clubs so children can sign up for a few weeks to delve into the Bible and find out about Jesus.
Sticky Fingers meets weekly on Tuesday during term time. See the calendar for more details. This is part of the outreach into the local community.
Our Youth Group meets twice monthly on Sunday Evenings and there are games, food and bible study. This is for young people at secondary school upto the age of 18.
We support the following mission partners: Christoff and Sarah Powers serving with African Inland Mission (AIM); Gerald and Louise Mwangi working with Crosslinks and iServe; North west Gospel Partnership; Platform 67.
Our aim is to follow Jesus and to teach and spread the good news about him. We try to do this by increasing our understanding of the Bible and obeying what it teaches. Please do come along, you will be welcome!
