We are pleased to announce that Revd Alice Cole has been appointed as half time minister in charge of Blackburn St Aidan, subject to the usual safer recruitment checks. A pastoral scheme is underway to separate the current Benefice into two Benefices, Alice will be named as incumbent of St Aidan’s when the new Benefice comes into effect. Alice is currently Associate Priest at St James, Lower Darwen.

Please do be praying for Alice and her family as they prepare to move house and as Alice prepares to take up her new post. The Bishop of Lancaster will license Alice on Monday 15th April 2024 at 6pm at St Aidan’s Church.
