Getting here

We are a growing church with a wide age range including many young families. We have an active Sunday School which meets in Benjamin Hargreaves School and the Little Angels Group (creche) in the church hall. The uniformed organisations have groups which meet in our church hall.They are all encouraged to take an active part in our church life. We have choir and organist for Sunday service which on the first Sunday of each month is All Age Worship.
There is a close practical working relationship with Benjamin Hargreaves Voluntary Aided C of E Primary School which is just across the road from the church. We share each other's facilities and have joint social and fund raising events.The church manages an Out of School Club mainly but not exclusively for the school. This meets in our church hall for breakfast and after school care
We have been very active in encouraging people into church through a variety of worship and social events. Social events take place in our church hall ( St. Paul's Church Hall and Community Centre) which is in daily use by many church and local community groups. 

Safeguarding at St. Paul's

The welfare of any person who is or feels vunerable - child or adult - is of the greatest importance to us. Safeguarding them means protecting their health, wellbeing and keeping them safe from harm, abuse and neglect. We have church members who will respond to signs of abuse particularly in children and young people and work to prevent this occuring. We will also take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others, and offer support to them whilst taking steps to migitate such risks.
