Getting here
Our church building opened again in 2011 after substantial repair and some decoration. This is still very much a work in progress but we are delighted to be back in our church building, worshipping God and seeking to do his work. Further improvements have been carried out in the vestry, including the installation of a toilet.
The congregation are exploring several initiatives for future use of our building under consideration so please watch this space.
The Accrington Pals Chapel was rededicated in February 2011. We hold an annual service in February to commemorate the Valedictory service held at St. John's on 21st February 1915.
Links with our primary school next door continue in a positive vein and there is much co-operation between the two organisations. They now worship in church each Wednesday morning and occasionally use the church vestry for small groups of pupils.
Enquiries for Baptisms and Weddings are very welcome - contact the Revd. Hugh Scriven 01254 872911.
